Hand forged sterling silver layered floral form earrings
Each piece is built from two hand-sawn layers, with carved veins and a formed center. The edges of a few petals are intentionally broken back, giving the surface a worn, dried quality.
Oxidized to bring out depth and detail.
There is a sense of breakdown in form; not damage, just time. There is beauty in decay.
Built by hand in my studio in Durango, Colorado.
